A long, long time ago, in a far away land known as Old Nashville, two optimistic realtors named Chad and Matt met. The sun shone brightly and times were good. For many in the land this was a happy time. The economy flourished, and along with it the real estate market. It was a wonderful time and place for two eager realtors to make their way in the world.
 

Chad hailed from Old Nashville, so he spoke the local language, and understood the local customs. Matt hailed from a far off land known as Texas. He spoke in a strange dialect and brought unusual customs. Yet he possessed the same ability as the local tradesmen and communicated through music and song to endear himself to those in Old Nashville.
 

As Chad and Matt lived a life of happiness, providing quality brokerage services to those in Old Nashville, for many moons there had been rumors from the realms near the sea of an evil monster roaming the land. News spread of it devouring mortgage backed securities. And in time home equity and livelihoods. Old Nashville and its blissful citizens thought the rumors untrue, or at least isolated to the coastal realms. But with time the sky darkened and the thunder clapped, and the evil monster came nearer. As it approached, its very name would strike fear through the land… The Great Recession! People were told not to say its name, but could not resist… The Great Recession! As it neared, with its Hobgoblin henchmen, Foreclosure and Short Sale, Chad, Matt, and all the good people of the land had to adjust to a new normal.
 

As with all monsters, The Great Recession eventually returned to the cave from which it came; falling into slumber, to return again one day when it was least expected. As the clouds parted, from the path of destruction a new city grew. New Nashville emerged into the sunshine, itself bold, bright, and ready to seize the world. New Nashville had a glow up. It grew bangs and started getting all kinds of attention, even being called, “The It City,” by The New York Times.
 

During this time, Chad and Matt met a fellow Realtor on her journey, named Autumn...

 

Ok, ok - enough of that - let's get to the point. We do life a good fairy tale, though!

 

We formed a partnership in 2006. Chad was a urban planner and my background was a little bit more creative. So from a marketing and urban planning standpoint, we had a pretty compelling outlook of how Nashville was developing and what was going on. I always said, "Me and Chad - we're one hell of an individual."
 

Eventually we started to see opportunities as Nashville was beginning to really grow. We realized that there wasn't a rental property management group - they weren't small boutique ones, at least. That's when we formed that arm of our business, and brought in Autumn. She's been able to really focus on property management and truly own and grow that aspect of our partnership. We now have the new construction and resale experience to pair with our property management to give investors a complete option, with a personal relationship.

We have the background to understand and get through the contracts to show developers we could prepare them - know the developer mindset is from a resale standpoint. We talk through your individual strategies, and optimize a plan with our knowledge of growth in the city, Chad uniquely solves for this with his extensive experience in Austin as an urban planner.

The uniqueness of what we do is that we are set up to grow with you. So we sell you your first home, you know, then you might upgrade, keep that as a rental - and we have a property management side that can then manage the rental.
